MAKE THIS YOUR CELEBRATION MONTH
This month, try to celebrate every small win you have in your business and your life! Sometimes we focus too much on the big goals and we forget to celebrate ourselves and our wins! Celebrating the small wins makes you feel more happy and more motivated to do even more! Try to celebrate in a fun way…maybe a nice treatment, dinner at your favourite restaurant, a nice movie night, or a day out with friends. Making time for a celebration is not wasting time! it is actually a great investment in your happiness.
SELL MORE RETAIL PRODUCTS (IT’S GREAT FOR YOUR BOTTOM LINE)
Selling retail products to your existing clients is one of the simplest, easiest ways to boost your profitability, and yet so many salon owners are missing this opportunity. Lets look at selling from a fresh perspective. It isn’t something you do TO your clients its something you do FOR your clients.
DEFINE WHAT EXPERIENCES YOU WANT THIS YEAR
I LOVE setting goals and I think it’s incredibly important, however I’m sure you’ve already started setting your goals for 2019 (if you’ve not then get cracking!!). Something else that you could do is get clear about what kind of experiences you want to have this year – what kind of business experience do you want to have? How do you want to feel? Do you want to feel like you own the best salon in town this year and then create the experience. I think getting clear on how you want to feel is just as important as getting clear about material goals.
No holds barred – if your December calendar is not full NOW, it’s time you got your butt into gear.
You need to be putting together your Christmas Promotions NOW. Ideally all Christmas promotions would have been advertised 6 weeks before Christmas. Don’t panic if you are not that organised, there is still time…..use every advertising avenue you have to get those bookings, if it means getting on the phone and ringing lapsed clients, that’s what you do.
Have a rebooking incentive for your clients, you want your calendar full for January and February. Don’t leave it up to chance, make it happen! You have to give clients a reason to rebook, what’s in it for them?
